Using case studies in ACtS partnership

The case study methodology is the shared methodological approach of our partnership. It could be defined in different ways at country level.

Using case telling in partnership projects based on exchange practices can accomplish a number of goals:

-    inspire action: by examining the specific ways others have attempted to achieve social change

-    transmit skills: by teaching specific techniques (e.g. involvement of stakeholders, alliance building, public interest lobbying, grassroots mobilization). A successful case study demonstrates the effectiveness of particular strategies and points out potential pitfalls
